While most firms and regulatory organizations only require advisors to have CEs, we believe that everyone should should continue to grow and learn. Therefore, we require that every team member complete at least 30 hours of CE per year (and double that for advisors). Learn come things that will make you better at your job, learn some that will help service clients better, learn some that will help you lead a better life and learn something that you enjoy!

Interested in getting you CFP and becoming an advisor?

Options to attain certification:

There are many educational programs that you may use to attain your credentials. As long as they are approved and accepted by the CFP Board then it is totally up to you who you use. For your convenience we have listed some of the larger providers for your inspection.
We recommend choosing a program, enrolling and getting started asap. Generally, paying for the entire thing up front as it will save you money, however, rF only reimburses after successful completion of each exam/course. On average, it takes a practicing advisor 10-18 months to complete the entire education and testing process.
Please be sure not to neglect your occupational duties as you study and progress through your coursework. Even though we require CFP certification and offer tuition reimbursement, studying for and participating in your CFP certification requirements should be done on your own time as it is an investment in your own future.
